I'm at a little bit of a loss as why it's so inefficient. So it seems that the output inductors are sucking up too much power - but my SPICE simulation shows that the current should be much lower. My output inductors are Taiyo Yuden NR6045T100M. It seems to play fine, and even when I'm playing at max volume, it continues at around a 400mA draw (average). The current draw seems the same whether I have speakers connected or not. The signal from the amp looks decent (400khz square wave 0-24vdc) on the output side, I measure around 12vdc (both positive and negative). I measured around 65 deg C on the inductors and on the amps. When I disconnect the TPA 3116s, the current draw goes down to around 100mA. At idle (no signal), my PSU reads around 400mA current draw. I have implemented an output filter with the same values as the one from the eval board ( TPA3116D2 EVM). I have them sync'd in master/slave configuration. Is there any way to let ARM0 RBL not to initialize ARM boot magic address or check the completion of initialization? I want ARM boot magic address not to be overwritten. I think ARM0 RBL initialized ARM boot magic addresses after DSP0 RBL loads the boot table. However, the value of ARM0 entry point at 0x0C5A_D000 was 0 after booting. To realize my idea, firstly I made the combined boot table which contains DSPs and ARMs boot tables in it.Īdditionally I added extra blocks which describe magic addresses of secondary cores like the table below.ĭSP0 RBL loaded the boot tables and copied each block data into each block address. My idea is that if one boot table combining DSPs and ARMs boot table is created, DSP0 RBL (ROM Boot Loader) loads the section data of all cores and then DSP0 generates IPC interrupts to other secondary cores. I'd like to boot DSPs and ARMs in the DSP NAND boot mode.
